Job Description

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of production planning and execution in our chemical manufacturing facility. This role is essential in ensuring that products are delivered On Time In Full (OTIF) with the right quality and cost-efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, enhancing employee development, and driving continuous improvement in production processes. Key Responsibilities: 1.Production Planning and Execution: - Develop and implement production plans to ensure timely delivery of products while meeting quality standards and cost targets. - Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as necessary to maintain optimal output and efficiency. 2. Compliance and Safety: - Ensure strict adherence to all environmental, health, and safety regulations throughout the manufacturing process. - Regularly review and update safety protocols and practices to promote a safe working environment. 3. Employee Development: - Facilitate training and development programs for employees to enhance skills and promote career growth. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the production team. 4. Budget Management: - Develop annual and long-term operating budgets for the production department. - Conduct monthly financial analysis to ensure budgets are being met and identify areas for cost reduction. 5. Continuous Improvement: - Direct the implementation of process improvements and best practices in production to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. - Collaborate with relevant departments to enhance operational coordination and effectiveness. 6. Quality Control: - Develop and maintain quality control systems to promptly identify and address production problems. - Conduct regular inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with product specifications. 7. Reporting and Coordination: - Prepare detailed production reports and maintain accurate personnel records. - Work closely with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth operational coordination.

Education Qualifications

  • B.Tech/B.E./Chemical

- Proven experience in a production management role within the chemical industry. - Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in budgeting and financial analysis. - Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex production issues.
