Job Description

Costing & Financial Analysis: Monitor and report variances between actual and budgeted costs. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management. Prepare and analyze cost sheets, including direct and indirect costs. Assist in cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability. Inventory & Stock Management: Conduct inventory valuation and cost calculations for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Coordinate with the production team to ensure accurate stock counts and valuation. Assist in setting up cost structures for inventory management and related activities. Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and internal control procedures. Assist in audits, limited review, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws. Reporting: Prepare monthly cost reports, including analysis of cost trends and variance reports for management review. Support senior management in making strategic cost-saving decisions. Provide reports to department heads regarding cost performance. Support in Decision Making: Provide financial and cost-related insights to help in pricing decisions, project cost analysis, and margin improvement. Assist in evaluating the profitability of different product lines or services. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in cost accounting practices. Implement best practices in cost tracking and reporting. Knowledge & Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level) and SAP HANA software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data. Understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting. Familiarity with Indian accounting standards and taxation regulations (GST, income tax, etc.). Knowledge of inventory management and cost control techniques. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Qualifications

  • ICWA/ICWA (CMA)
  • B.Com/Commerce
