Executive EHS & Maintenance

Job Description

1) Responsible for maintaining and improving Safety, Health and environment in plant operations. 2) Maintaining ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 management systems. 3) Investigation of accidents/incidents and taking appropriate corrective and preventive action. 4) Maintaining work permit system at plant. 5) Identify potentially hazardous biological, chemical and radiological materials and collect samples of them for analysis. 6) Inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards. 7) Support the development of OHS policies and programs. 8) Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics like noise levels, use of machinery. 9) Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures. 10) Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation. 11) Ensure on time legal compliances in safety and environment, internal external audits, NC compliances. 12) Managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources and assisting in the design and installation of new systems. 13) Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works. 14) Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site 15) Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out as per given schedule. 16) Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems. 17) Schedule both internal and external works maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime. 18) Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management. 19) Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department. 20) Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. 21) Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors People Management. 22) Focus on repairs and maintenance. 23) Anticipate needs and practice planning and preparing

Education Qualifications

• Diploma/Mechanical
• Diploma/Electrical

Behavioural Profile

Reporting to plant head through Mr. B. Dhandapani (Asst. Manager-Maintenance & Safety), following the instructions, following safety & maintenance rules, executing the needful on the field, preparing reports within time limits.

Desired Skills

Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical with any certification on Environmatal-Safety-Health course
