Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Techno‑Commercial / Design & Proposal Engineer with strong exposure to water and wastewater treatment systems. The role involves preparation of techno‑commercial offers, coordination with sales, customers, vendors, and internal teams, as well as support through design, procurement, and execution stages. Key Responsibilities: Proposal & Tendering Preparation of techno‑commercial proposals for WTP / WWTP systems and equipment. Preparation of BOQ, costing sheets, and pricing evaluations. Study of tender documents and selection of suitable technical schemes (as applicable). Arrangement and preparation of technical and financial documentation to meet tender qualification criteria. Standardization of proposal formats and development of standard proposals for RO, DM, Softener, ETP, STP systems, etc. Skilled handling of various types of tenders related to water treatment projects. Undertaking follow‑ups on submitted offers in coordination with the Sales team. Coordination & Communication Coordination and communication with Sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding enquiries and project requirements. Conduct online meetings with customers and team members to understand technical requirements. Coordination with design, factory, and project execution teams to ensure timely dispatch of equipment. Providing technical support during project execution and erection & commissioning (E&C) stages. Design & Engineering Process design and engineering of water and wastewater treatment systems. Selection of pumps, piping, valves, and associated equipment as per design guidelines. Preparation and standardization of process calculation sheets and design documentation. Troubleshooting experience in: Filtration systems Auto chemical dosing systems Online monitoring and control systems Vendor Management & Procurement Sending enquiries to vendors and obtaining quotations. Technical verification and commercial negotiation with vendors. Vendor correspondence, evaluation, and induction of new products. Offer preparation for: WTP / WWTP equipment Chembond auto chemical dosing systems Industry & Consultant Interface Working experience and coordination with leading consultants such as MECON, EIL, PDIL, and similar organizations. Required Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment. Excellent techno‑commercial understanding. Experience in proposal engineering, tendering, and execution support. Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross‑functionally with sales, design, factory, and execution teams.

• Diploma/Chemical

Behavioural Profile

Multi tasking to some extent. Able to understand technical requirements and communicate the exact requirement to design team. Must act as a mediator between Sales/technical team, customer and design team to help execute the equipment requirements. Soft spoken but ability to get work done independently.
