Manager- Sourcing

Job Description

1] Analyse the current materials and sources of the company's raw materials and identify alternative suppliers - domestic and international. 2] Monitor markets and trends (e.g., material price increases, shortages, changes in suppliers), interpret the impact of these trends on the company, and communicate the same to material pricing committee and business heads. 3] Identify potential suppliers for raw materials and services that go into new products. 4] Evaluate options including Make or Buy and recommend contingency plans that support company plans. 5] Support the organization’s need for a diverse and nationally competitive supply base. 6] Shortlist trusted pool of suppliers at the different manufacturing locations. 7] Select, develop, and continuously evaluate qualified suppliers with the objective of delivering cost savings and process efficiency improvement (lead time, JIT, quality) every year.

Education Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./Chemical
• B.Sc/Chemistry
• Diploma/Chemical
