Plant Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for the overall functioning of plant. To look after production planning, scheduling, plant maintenance. Monitoring of processes and functioning of all departments of the unit • Production planning and execution Co-ordination with sales and purchase in addition to the plant team • Excellent Organizational and leadership Skill • Manpower management • Liaison with the govt officials • Safety, Health and Environment Compliance • Knowledge of Hazop, Risk Assessment • Handling the Customer complaints • Inventory management • Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reports Preparations • Experience of facing Internal, External, ISO and other Global Audits

Education Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E./Chemical

Behavioural Profile

Proven work experience as a Plant Manager of Speciality Chemicals/Chemicals/Polymer Industry Proven managerial experience Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources) Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and operations processes Ability to create accountability and to lead by example Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
