Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Sales & Marketing to lead and expand our chemical distribution business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical sales, with proven expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, and overseeing the marketing efforts to strengthen our market position. Key Responsibilities: Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the chemical distribution sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while prospecting for new customers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability. Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and adjust strategies to meet market conditions. Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new products, and competitor activities. Develop and implement marketing plans, including product promotions, advertising campaigns, and trade show participation. Work closely with product managers to align marketing initiatives with product offerings. Analyze customer feedback and market needs to inform product and service improvements. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives. Provide training and development opportunities to improve team capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, finance, and technical support to ensure smooth business operations. Manage Pipeline: manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales, and track client interactions. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent post-sales support and resolving any issues. Regularly meet with key clients to assess their needs and maintain strong business relationships. Reporting & Metrics: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities to senior management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
